Kaskaskia College, Centralia, IL (August 2023 – Present)

Assistant Professor of Music and Program Coordinator

  • Instructed and evaluated undergraduate students in music theory, aural skills, guitar, piano, conducting, and general music topics

  • Conducted both the school's instrumental ensemble and concert choir

  • Organized and led a small team of adjunct professors to achieve student learning outcomes

  • Collaborated with the administration to communicate the needs and goals of the music department

  • Submitted purchase orders for necessary instructional equipment and music pieces

  • Drove community engagement through connections with local high schools, music performances, and career fairs

  • Collaborated with IT, marketing, advising, and facilities departments to ensure the smooth operation of both long-term and day-to-day operations within the music department

  • Executed administrative program reviews and budget proposals for the music department

  • Served on hiring committees to recruit, evaluate, and appoint new faculty members and student workers

Composer, Educator, Producer, and Music Engraver

  • Provided music consulting, editing, and engraving services for Oregon-based ensemble Pink Martini

  • Instructed Pink Martini members in arranging, composition, and orchestration

  • Proposals and compositions selected for multiple New Music Mosaic concerts

  • Self-produced two electronic pop albums, Pressure’s Off and [Insert Game to Continue]
